Chapter 2 A Feast for the Gods For two days, Tantalus' slaves scrubbed and polished every inch of floor, wall, and pillar, until the entire palace shone like the halls of Olympus. Zeus and the other gods would be arriving very shortly, and the entire palace staff and slaves were busy preparing a feast for the Gods. The eagle had been seen flying high over Mount Sipylus - Zeus and the Olympians would be arriving soon.
