Kurat came to pick me up within a few minutes of the Queen mind-linking him, his mother absolutely adores him. You can see he loves his mother, but I would never say that to him. We are making our way back to our rooms when Kurat’s eyes glaze over and he mutters under his breath
“s**t, I need to go see Ratnik. Will you be ok from here?” he asks, looking concerned. I just smile at him,
“Of course I will.” He just leans in and kisses my cheek.
