I couldn’t help but tighten my grip around her waist as the words her brother said were ringing inside my head again and again. She decided to leave this world, that too, not once but more than once she tried to take her life away. What if she was successful once in her attempt? No, no. I would’ve lost my life forever. As this thought hit me, I kissed her forcefully but the tears in my eyes are something that can show that I’m hurt and afraid. Fear of losing my girl…my baby…my wife.
