“Who's this?” His deep voice echoed in my ears again, flinching something within me. Even Kira raised her head, her eyes focused.
“Um-uh, I am Valentina Rodriguez, from Ebonn Moon Clan, a pack in the southern Kingdom. I am calling the council on behalf of Alpha Victor Rodriguez to complain about a situation.” I introduced myself, explaining why I called.
"I see," came his voice. It was so calm, as though he wasn't using any strength to speak, but the depth of his voice touched my bones deeply.
