I felt Rey's claws on my skin; dread had overwhelmed her, and she shivered beside me.
“How's this possible?” She whispered, her voice shaking.
I wasn't any more relaxed either. A mixture of doubts, helplessness, and rage consumed me.
Rey was right. How is this even possible? Black rogues roaming freely in our pack? This is not bloody normal!
However, I didn't have time to sink into my thoughts when their dark red gazes started to appear one by one. The smell of danger spread into the air of dawn, gnawing the silence gravely.
