The next morning, I awoke to a continuous banging at my door and Papa's shout, “Val, wake up!”
Slightly annoyed, I rubbed my eyes and almost yelled, "Why? Let me sleep!” I growled out.
“No more sleeping, you lazy head. Get up and come down!” Papa again banged on my door as if a war had started. At this rate, he would break the f*****g door! Though I know it was just a nanosecond work for a wolf to break the door.
With sleepy eyes, I glanced at the clock, and my mood was ruined further. “It’s only five o’clock. Let me sleep!” I pulled the quilt more comfortably when an even louder noise almost deafened me.
