When they returned to the house, they were shocked to find the family all gathered.
"We were wondering when you two were going to show your faces again."
"You could have called. I had my cell phone on me."

Jake pulled his cell from his pocket and found a missed call from his mom along with seven missed calls and 4 missed texts from Melissa. "s**t! Sorry, must not have heard it. I'll be right back. My boss called. Let me see what he needs." Jake ran in the house to hurry and call Melissa. He prayed she was not going to go on a rampage.
