Allie was settling into the backseat of the car when her phone started vibrating. She pulled it out of her purse and didn't see a voicemail left from the previous number but a text message instead.

Allie set the phone on her leg and waited for a reply.
-What do you mean, who is this? Its Jake. My mom gave me your number and said to call you but you didn't answer

- No I am shopping with your mom and Lisa. Why do you want to call me anyway? Allie wanted to see what his response was going to be. Was he going to mention Dominic? Was he going to try and arrange some time together with this son?
