LIAM’S POINT OF VIEW

Going back home was not something I was happy about. How I wish I could go to another business trip but how could I , when dad just phoned and told me to return because it have been a long time since I left.

And the thought that of going back home hurt me. Knowing I will see the person my heart has fallen for. Smiling at another person and it doesn’t sound right to me.

You know my dad and mom came to me and told me that. They arranged a marriage for me the daughter of the Travis family. Even after knowing that I will never agree to that , even if they try all their best I will never agree.

Getting married was something that I never putted my mind on. Women are something else , they only love money. Nothing else. When you are a guy like me, you should know that woman only show their innocent face and make you head over heels for them.

You know, I want a woman that is not after my money, a woman who I will love and she will give me that love back too. I want a woman who I know, when I’m leaving to work, she will be at home waiting for me to come back and ask me how my day was. A woman who I won’t regret marrying. After rejecting the proposal, my parents made my younger brother Ethan to be the one to marry that girl . knowing that my brother loves girls, he agreed like that. You know sometimes, I wish I could get the heart that he has because for me, I don’t think, I will have the time to be timid like him.

Arriving at my company, I was shocked to found everyone laughing, some chatting while their legs are on the table, and some even stopped doing their jobs. “ it seems like you are having a good time sorry to disturb you but I just want my work in my office in fifteen minutes otherwise you will all be fired, don’t make me wait , I don’t have all day long , I have other important things to do then your job’s .” I spoke .

“ go.go.goo.good mor. Morning sir lia. Liam” one of them greeted me . is he seriously greeting me , he has the nerve to greet me. “ I don’t think it a good morning why don’t you say bad morning sir Liam” I said

“ how can I do that sir ; you are our boss” he said. I couldn’t help but feel angry. “ oh, do you remember now that I’m your boss. Is this how you welcome me back , is this a playground or a workplace. Is this how you work” I paused ad look at them. They are so scared of but they still have the nerve to do things that will upset me

“ I have changed my decision; I said I want everyone to come my office now I hope you hear me .”

After the long day, firing my employees , I finally return home. I entered and the serves were caring my files and bags. As I made my way to the stairs , I heard a sound of someone laughing and it stopped me and I’m hundred percent sure that it her.

Liam stop it, since when did you start noticing which laugh belong to who but I’m telling the truth and I followed the laughter of that person and it leaded me to the garden, and I notice a woman sitting on the swing. It seems like she is talk to someone on the phone.

She was busy swinging and laughing too. And I’m sure she is Sophia. You know this woman will make lose control over myself. I never felt this way before in my life for a woman.

I need to control myself . I quickly left, I was already sweating, my heart was beating fast like it is going to explore. The only thing that can help is too take a cold shower at least it will help my body to return to it normal.

SOPHIA’S POINT OF VIEW

I was in the garden, sitting on the swing, admiring the beauty of the garden. It is indeed beautiful and it is peaceful, it seem like I will like visiting here. I heard my phone ring, I quickly took it and found out it is Isabella.

“ Sophia” she said , calling out my name with her sweet voice that it been a long time since I heard it. “ Bella, how are you doing?” I asked, I couldn’t contain my happiness , my sister has called after a long time. “ I’m fine sister, and guess what. I’m pregnant you are going to be an aunt soon” she said what pregnant so soon.

“ what! Pregnant!” I exclaimed. I still can’t believe she is telling me that she is pregnant maybe she is pranking me or maybe trying to see how I will react.” Yes, I’m I just found out now so I wanted to tell you first, sorry for not checking on you.

Since I have left that house, I never called to check on you if you are alright because I know mom and dad are torturing you there maybe they blame for my eloping with logan.” She said and tears just come out from my eyes I couldn’t believe she is pregnant. I’m so happy for her. At least she got the happiness she deserve.

“ don’t worry I’m fine okay so there is no need to worry , when I’m not okay I will call and tell you okay.” I spoke. “ okay so when are you visiting?” she asked. “ I like to visit but I don’t think they will agree.” I spoke

“ you mean mom and dad, Sophia why don’t you come and live with ours that way you can have your freedom, you can do anything you want” Isabella said.

“ it not that easy Bella. Actually, I don’t live there anymore. After you decided to elope dad and mom made me replace you and now, I’m the daughter -in -law of the Maxwell family.” I spoke.

“ what! Daughter-in-law, married, sister I’m sorry for getting you in my problems.” She said and I know she wants to cry, this cry-baby little sister of mine. “ don’t worry, in not your fault, if this what my fate then so be it, who am I to change the go’s plan, he knows the best for us.

Don’t stress yourself, remember you are pregnant, you are carrying my niece there. Bella I’m finally happy I will be godmother and an aunt to your child.” I spoke.

We chat and chat, we even cried. “ Sophia sorry, I have to go now, or else Logan won’t let me live in peace .” she said and I was happy for her. She found someone she loved Logan and Logan loves her too, wow, what a love story . and I hope they have a happy family.

“ okay bye Bella. We will talk later.” I said and ended the call and I was bored again, Isabella just made me forget all my worries but now I’m back to square one. I left the garden and went back to my room . it better being bored here than sitting in the gardening doing nothing and I’m tired of admiring flowers.

I saw books on the tables near the bed. Does Ethan read books? At least I got something to keep me busy. Thank you, Ethan. I took one book and I was happy to read something after so long. What made me happier was that this book was that it was a book that was all about romance. I read and read. I didn’t even realise that four hours has pass. This novel is really nice, I love it. How I wish my life was like this novel that I’m reading right now. I didn’t even see that I have fallen asleep.

I woke up early in the morning. I thought I will make breakfast again but was disappointed to see the maid already done. “ good morning miss Sophia” the matron said. “ morning” I replied and return to my room. It seems like my life in this house is to always return to my room.

I’m still trying to accept that I’m no longer a Travis but a Maxwell but I fail. It still feels like a dream to me, all this wedding the thing it like a prank.
