FLASHBACK

Since she need time to think, so will I. Ashlyn called me she don't know how to leave me alone at all.

Ashlyn- Hey babe.

Dave- I ain't your babe.

Ashlyn- Whatever I have a proposition for you.

Dave- And that is.

Ashlyn- Ok you break up with Chanelle and come to me so she won't get killed. But if you don't, you would have to watch her die in front of you, your choice. Oh and by the way, Angelica ain't pregnant she lied.

I hung up the phone this is something. I don't want to date Ashlyn and I don't want to have Chanelle killed. This is hard. My question is 'Who to Choose.'

(1 Month Later)

Dave

It's been a month since we heard from Ashlyn. I guess she was giving me a month to decide. But anyways, Chanelle forgave me and our relationship is working out just fine no problem at all. Oh and I also told Chanelle about the incident and she asked me who am I choosing and of course I said her so she won't feel so heartbroken and say I left her for Ashlyn. Like Ashlyn ain't even my type.

Dave- Hey Nelle.

Chanelle- Hmmmm ?

Dave- Do you want to meet my mom ? She have dying to meet you ever since we were dating.

Chanelle- Sure I would love to. But when ?

Dave- Tomorrow.

Chanelle- Ok.

The next day, we got on my private jet and flew to Richmond, Virginia. When we got there, Chanelle kept biting her nails nervously.

Dave- What's wrong ?

Chanelle- I'm kinda nervous. What if she don't like me ? What if she say you are better with Ashlyn? Help me, man.

Dave- Just relax it's gonna be fine.

Chanelle- Well alright then.

We pulled up to my old house and Chanelle was holding my arm pulling me down. We got to the door and my mom opened the door and she looked younger than ever.

Dave- Hi mom.

Joy- Hey baby. How are you ?

Dave- Fine.

Joyce- Well that's good. And is this Chanelle?

Chanelle- Yes, nice to meet you Ms. Mann.

Joy- Oh please call me Joy.

Chanelle- Ok.

Chanelle

Dave mom is a really nice person. I wish mine was like that but she isn't. May God rest her soul. I am kinda scared that Ashlyn might be coming to kill me. Like the last time, she got me in the stomach I guess as a warning. So I am staying on the down-low and not tryna get killed.

Dave

She invited us in and we started talking for hours and we realized it was getting late and we had to leave.

Dave- Well ma, it was nice speaking to you again but we have to go. See you tomorrow.

Joy- Oh no need to. You can just take Dave old room.

Dave- Ma.

Joy- No I insist.

We got upstairs to Dave room and it was kind of nice. It had a race car bed with posters of Stevie Wonder, Tupac, Aaliyah, TLC, Biggie and many others and also had pictures of Dave when he was a baby.

Chanelle- You were so cute.

Dave- It's too embarrasing.

Chanelle- Ha.

The next day, I woke to cold side to a bed and Dave wasn't there. So I walked downstairs and Dave and Joy were talking. So you know me, I eavesdropped.

Joy- What do you mean, she threatned you ?

Dave- Yes ma , I had to choose from Ashlyn and Chanelle and I chose Chanelle.

Joy- But still, her life is in danger and so is yours.

Dave- I know but ma I don't want lose Chanelle but I don't wanna date Ashlyn.

Joy- Well.

I came down and interrupted like I just woke up.

Dave- Well look who is up.

Chanelle- Good morning. Did I interrupt ?

Joy- No you didn't come join us.

We were talking until Dave got a call.

Dave

Chanelle- Who is that ?

Dave- It's Ashlyn gotta take this.

Dave- Hello ?

Robyn- So I see you made your choice.

Dave- Yes I have.

Ashlyn- Ok so say goodbye to your little princess.

Dave- Trust me I won't.

Ashlyn- Bye.

She hung up the phone so I went back into the kitchen with mom and Chanelle worried faces.

Joy&Chanelle- Well ?

Dave- I told her my choice and she said say goodbye to my little princess.

Chanelle- But I am scared.

Dave- Don't be. As long as you are with me, there is nothing to worry about nothing ok.

After we left Virginia, we went back to Cali. We went inside and the whole place was trashed and there was a note and it said....

"KARMA IS A BITCH."

It sure is.
