“Oh baby, I knew you were telling the truth. I’ve always trusted you.” Seraphine rushed to hug me once they dragged Vivienne outside.
“I don’t know why you ever engaged with her. She’s a lying b***h who tried to steal my man.” Seraphine said, still clinging on tightly to my neck.
I knew why she was doing this.
She wanted to paint a false picture to the elders present that we were in ‘love,’ but I wasn’t having any of this.
I leaned in closer, ignoring her shocked but happy expression. She puckered her lips expecting a kiss, but I just went on to whisper in her ear.
“She may be a liar, but she’s a better f**k than you’d ever be.” Her grip on my neck loosened immediately, and she staggered backwards a little, tears already forming at the corner of her eyes.
