“Ughhhh…” I bemoaned.
I tried to flutter my eyes open, but I was genuinely feeling like my eyes had been forced shut by some unseen forces.

“Scarlett… are you waking up?” I heard a familiar voice say, but it felt a bit distant. Finally, I was able to force my eyes open, and the first thing I saw was the white ceiling staring back at me.
What happened? And why does my whole body hurt like hell?
