Chapte10

The fresh air was a great change after getting dressed and walking out of the hospital. He gave me a tour of the entire town. It was a quiet place and it was self-sufficient. Everyone had a job to keep the town running. I was tired but hungry, though I could tell he was enjoying himself. The final stop looked like a hotel that was 5 stories high. When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was the open concept. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were combined and took up the entire first floor. There were people everywhere. I was tired of people and ready to lie down.

"This is the pack house. It's where parties are held, big meetings, orphans, and warriors live. This is also our home. We have the top floor along with the beta and gamma families. Though right now it's just you, me and Josh."

"I am ready to see our home." More like ready to go to bed, but I couldn't say that.

"Lets head up. I will show you the rest of the pack house later. I am sure you're ready for a bath or shower and bed." he replied. He then led me along the first floor to an elevator and pressed floor five.

When the doors opened to the hall, he took my hand and turned right down the hall. We passed two doors and he opened the third. I was stunned at the room. The floor was an open concept as well. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were all connected. There was a door in the living room and a door in the dining room. The living room had a couch and a huge entertainment center complete with a Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and a VR headset. "Welcome home, Mate." He started walking to the door that was in the living room and opened it. Inside was a huge four-poster bed with a gray comforter and pillows. It was so inviting. There was a door to my right, and it was open, so I peeked in. There was a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, a stand-alone shower that could fit 3 people in it and it had a water fall shower head. There was a walk in closet connected to the bathroom and the sinks were elaborate.

"This is home? Its more like a mansion. Its bigger than three of my rooms in the institute." I said to him.

"I am glad you like it. If there is anything you want to add or change feel free. This is your home too." He stated.

"I wouldn't change a thing. This place is perfect." I walked out of the bathroom to the large window in the room and looked outside. "Is that a wolf?"

"Uh... yeah that is something i have been meaning to talk to you about." He seemed hesitant. " You see you're a witch and I am, we are all werewolves. Everyone in this town is a werewolf." Now i know why he was so hesitant. I connected the dots and finally figured out why his eyes were so captivating.

"You're the wolf from the cliff. You're the wolf i fought with on the battlefield. Arent you?" I know I am right. Those eyes are unique.

"Yes, and please don't call us wolfie. Its so degrading." He looked embarrassed.

"I will try not to call you wolfie. Though if its okay with you can i take a bath and go to sleep. Its been a very long day."

"Absolutely. Take your time i will bring you some towels." He turned around and walked out and I walked to the bathroom. I got out of the clothes after running the bath at the perfect temperature. I got in and the water was only high enough to cover my legs. I laid back and let the water run until i heard a knock at the doors edge. I shut the water off that was now at my breasts and looked back to see Ryan with an armful of towels and some clothes as well. "These are for you when you're ready. There is no rush promise. Goddess you're sexy. Uhm if you don't mind i would like to introduce you properly to the pack as my mate tomorrow evening. Just a formality so that they understand you are not an intruder if you're out and their wolves spot you. We don't want a fight on our hands."

"Understood thank you. If you need anything else from me let me know. I am going to bed after i am done in here. Also can i have a knife or one of my weapons back i would feel so much more secure if i have one."

"Only if you tell me what you went through at the Institute."

"Its a long story made up of ten years. Are you sure you want to listen to a story that long? I could just give you bits and pieces here and there." I really didn't want to tell him everything.

"Tell me what you want to for now if i have questions i will let you know. I would prefer you start at the beginning though."

"I can do that. Just let me soak and sleep a little bit and i will tell you my beginning. Its not for the faint of heart, Mate." The warning was necessary and once he heard all of it i wonder how he will treat me. I don't want to be looked at differently. He might lose the gleam in his eye like he is proud of having me by his side. I have finally found the place where i belong and i don't want to lose it. I found a home and someone who will love me and not leave me alone. Not like Eric did. "Promise me you won't look at me differently. I am scared once you find out what i have been through you will change how you feel about me."

"That's the thing about the mate bond. I can never hate you or leave you. It would be spitting on the moon goddess if i were to ever reject my mate. You are mine and I am yours forever until the day we die." He reassured me.

"Thank you." With that he walked out and left me to soak. Once i was done, I got dressed in an oversize black shirt and a pair of underwear. The shirt smelled like pine and sandalwood. I loved those scents. I went to the bed and fell into it like it was a bed made of clouds. I felt like i was floating and before i knew it, i drifted off into the best sleep i have had in 10 years. Tomorrow I will tell him about my beginning.
