On his way to the hospital the next morning, Hank stopped at the Club, using the spare key Bubba had once given him, to check on things, which he did, and also to try to reach Donna and plan their escape. The first time he called, praying she, not Jack or Gertrude, their maid, would answer, no one answered, and when the answering machine clicked on, he quickly hung up. He tried again ten minutes later, and this time Donna picked up. "Donna, my love, it’s time for us to get out of Boston. It’s,D-Day, it’s here, now…Meet me tonight with a packed bag." He explained it all to her, and when she heard the mirror part, she broke in and said, "Hank, honey, I’ll meet you at your place at five, ready to travel. For me it will have to be, Sorry, but I have to "Hit The Road, Jack." They both giggle
