Sacrifice
The next few days pass by uneventful. I take the time to rest and catch up with my friends. Ebrach stays in holding. He doesn’t seem to mind. I think he finds it peaceful. I wonder what will happen after he accomplishes his only goal in life. I guess we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, which will be soon since the sacrifice arrived today. He’s an enemy of both the clan and Ebrach and an evil man. You know, raping, pillaging, killing children, that sort of thing. I can’t personally ascertain this, as the dude is passed out cold on some poison, but I have no reason to doubt the information. We have every intention of leaving him unconscious. Nothing said the victim has to be awake and aware for the ritual to work. Some might say it’s cowardly to kill people in their sleep.
