Hunt
We take the Seekers’ horses. It would be faster on foot, but on horseback we can rest, and if we catch Lanky, it will be easier to carry him back. We need to bring him back. If we kill him where he is, we can’t leave the grenolites with him, because it would not be believable. Anyone chasing him would take the rocks, but if the Seekers don’t find the gems, they probably won’t give up the chase. We want someone who has no clue how many grenolites should there be, to kill Lanky without asking questions, take the stones and lure the Seekers away. Thanks to the rumor I started at the port, the woods should be crawling with bored mercenaries looking for stolen treasure. Of course, we first have to find and capture Lanky.
