Eero was overly excited about seeing his mate. In fact, I was excited too. She was impatient and impulsive, but I assumed that was mainly because of her dormancy. Her presence was undeniably powerful, and she was not only strong and confident, but also had an air of refined sophistication about her.
Rae stripped, and as I talked her through what was going to happen, I watched her transform. First shifts were always more painful and took much longer until you knew how to refine and control them. However, Rae barely made a sound and I quickly shifted when I realised she had already made the transformation.
I had never seen anyone shift so quickly, and it wasn’t until I was now in wolf form, that I realised, I too had shifted in mere seconds, with absolutely no discomfort
