  Katia quickly bit her lip and said nothing. She just sat quietly, watching as Cahir tried to bandage his own wounds.   His hands moved clumsily. The pain and blood loss made his coordination terrible.   *This is ridiculous,* Katia thought, watching him struggle. *He's too weak to do this himself.*   But she didn't move. She'd learned when to push and when to stay silent.   After several failed attempts, Cahir's jaw tightened in frustration. The bandage kept slipping loose. Blood kept seeping through.
