The door to Katia's new room closed as Emma left. For a moment, neither Katia nor Dalia moved, both shocked at their surroundings.
Then Dalia got excited, running to the window, then to the wardrobe, then turning around with her arms spread wide.
"Miss Katia! Look at this place!" Her voice was full of joy, real happiness finally showing. "It's enormous! And there's a separate room just for me. An actual room with a real bed and everything!"
