Darius caressed Aurora's shoulder slightly causing a flinch from her. Rowan had gone upstairs away from them.
“What a show that was?” Remi said, slow clapping from behind them.
“Stop it, Remi.” Aurora said, turning back to him., detaching from Darius's hold.
“He even got you roses.” he said taking a rose from the floor bringing it to his nose to smell it, “It's fresh, midnight roses are hard to find , especially this time of year
“Who is he to you? I saw him at the auction too.” Darius said, his forehead creased in confusion
“We're just business partners.” Aurora replied coolly.
Darius scoffed “Business partners? Does he know that? because from the looks of this…” he gestured around us. “It doesn't seem like he does.”
Aurora gave no reply, she didn't want to talk any further.
