Aurora ran at full speed as the branches whipped past her face. She pushed through the woods as Darius kept his pace behind her, his eyes glowing gold in the dark.
“Where exactly were they seen?” Aurora asked, without looking back at Remi.
“They were seen near the old river trail. But Aurora, I think I must have jumped too fast” Remi said, her voice laced with urgency as Aurora stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Remi.
