Chapter 54 Aurora didn’t sleep a wink that night. She laid as still as possible with her eyes closed, her back turned to the couch where Rowan was already completely passed out. Her hands clutched under her pillow as her mind kept spiralling in way that felt like silent torture. The room was silent, except from the humming sound of the AC mixed with his heavy breathing.
