Rowan paced around the pack grounds waiting for the messenger to get back.
He had been waiting for several hours.
He'd set out the previous day to Crestwood pack to find Aurora and beg for her forgiveness.
After several more minutes of waiting, the messenger finally returned.
“Alpha Rowan, the mistress has refused to see you, she requests that you leave the pack grounds immediately.”
“Aurora refused to see me?” he thought inwardly, but he'd expected this much from her. Winning her back wasn't going to be easy, that much he knew.
He turned to the messenger and said. “ Tell her that I'll be waiting for her until she decides to see me.” “However long it takes,” he added.
As he was still conversing with the messenger. Alpha Felix joined them.
