“Gods…” he breathed, rubbing his hand down his face as he tried to get a hold of himself.
“You scared me. You scared the whole damn pack. Do you even know how long you’ve been gone?”

"Shh" Rowan hushed him with a glare as he tried not to wake her up. But she woke, half-asleep still, and looked up at Victor with puffy eyes. “He just woke up a few hours ago. He’s still weak.”
