The shock of Aurora's last words had Rowan reeling in despair, she preferred that he start a war with her pack than to go back to him. She wasn't gullible, she certainly wasn't the woman he once knew either, she wasn't the woman who would do anything for him, for his attention, she didn't even want him near her.
Despair crept in, but hope still overshadowed it, amidst his dismay, he still held the hope that she would come to him and eventually forgive him; it would just be a matter of time.
He'd keep pushing until she eventually comes back. He decided to change his tactics again, starting a war wouldn't do him any good if Aurora wasn't going to come back to him. If threats didn't work, maybe he just needed to try and please her instead, help her with whatever she wanted.
