Aurora sat up on the hospital bed, she'd been given the all-clear to go home but she was waiting for Felix to come pick her up. Her phone was destroyed in the crash but luckily, she had his number memorized, so she called him with someone else's phone.
After she woke up, and the doctor's reassured Rowan that nothing was wrong with her, he finally left to take care of his pack duties, but only after he made sure that Felix was coming to get her.
Aurora reached for a water bottle at her bedside and took a large gulp. She stared blankly outside the window as she drummed her fingers on the bed.
She let her thoughts wander, to nowhere really, she just wanted to get lost in her head.
“Hello Aurora.” a voice said from the door and she turned immediately to the door only to find Maddy.
