Rowan's rage took over, it was bubbling so much he didn't know what to do but groan hard holding onto the woman he loved with his life, a woman he had just got back and he killed her. Her blood was in his hands. He killed her.
“Rowan?” his whole body jerked upon hearing that voice. He blinked fast as the blood, the torn chest suddenly disappeared. Aurora's dead body suddenly disappeared and the field was still without blood.
His sword had fallen, sure, but there was no body. No war. No fire. Just him, panting like a hunted wolf in an open space that now felt too wide.
