Rowan’s face hardened as his eyes dropped to the sickly, barely conscious man on the floor, then turned to glare at Aurora, then Remi, then finally Elena who was still kneeling, holding the man close like he might stop breathing if she let go.
“Who the hell is this?” Rowan asked, his voice loud and fierce as he barked for answers. “And what is he doing in the Luna’s private room?”
His voice was enraged, and everyone present knew why he was reacting this way. No male was allowed in the Luna's room. Not even a Beta could enter without being summoned.
The Luna's room was considered sacred ground. The law of Silver Fang was clear on it, and yet here lay a man, breathless and bloody, and none of them looked sorry.
