26 Tammy I ran out of The Rosewood and immediately spotted a taxi – an old-school Crown Victoria. ‘Where to?’ asked the driver. ‘Two twenty-four Coolidge Lane. Scarsdale,’ I said. I didn’t know what to think or what to do. I just knew where I wanted to be – home. It was freezing outside, but I rolled down the window anyway.
