I smiled at her. “Thanks, I decided to try something new.”
“I like it, you look fearless and not the sad girl everyone was expecting to see.” Jay said and pushed off the locker.
“Thanks Jay, it means a lot.” I gave him a hug and basked in his cologne before pulling back.
“But you are sure you are okay?” he furrowed his eyebrows at me and I rolled my eyes.
“Yep, I’m okay.”
Jay motioned his head behind me and Kate hooked her arm in mine and Jay did the same on my other side. I was sandwiched in between them and I was confused as they dragged me away from my locker and to the first class.
