She’d just settled back down to resume her work when the hair at the back of her neck stood. On instinct, she looked up at the dispersing crowd, searching. Catching sight of golden orbs, her eyes froze. Enrique Fenrirson stood at the opposite side of the courtyard, staring right at her. How long had he been there? She had no idea. Looking away, she hoped he hadn’t witnessed the scene that had just taken place. Why are you worried about that? Her wolf questioned. I’m not, she almost yelled out loud, irritated.
