Logan looks at me like I am the most clueless person he has ever come across, and I wonder who the most clueless person is between us – the person who has welcomed his greatest enemy with open arms or the invisible young lady playing everyone in the room. He won’t know what has hit him until it is too late, and I can’t wait to behold that moment. It is hard hiding all that venom and anger beneath a naïve and scared expression, but I do it all the same, angling my head at him.
