Logan’s POV
I lost it the minute Trina asked that I reject her as her mate, and I find myself unable to control my displeasure and anger. Jake and Lanny happen to be casualties in the wake of my authority as I move towards her, but at that moment, I don’t care about their feelings as all I can think about is the appalling idea of rejecting Trina when she has done absolutely nothing wrong when I have searched the ends of the earth trying to find her.
My words envelop her like a glove, and I feel it in every part of her. We are closer than we have ever been since her arrival at the pack and the scent of honey hits me again. Pushing down the urge to close the little space between us and pull her into my arms, I fix my gaze on her eyes, but that does nothing to dissipate
