Chapter Twelve Logan’s POV After our early breakfast, I lead Trina up to the bedroom, stopping by the door because I don’t trust myself to walk through the frame and into the room. My wolf is still fighting for the urge to pull her into my arms, to promise to protect her against the people who attacked her. But at the same time, my instincts are telling me to be cautious, to know the chip she carries on her first before making any move. And there’s also the existence of Anne. I can’t do anything about that just yet if I don’t want to cause any trouble for my pack. She leaves the doors open as she waltzes in, her arms wrapped around her frame. She seems to be doing that a lot, like she’s guarding herself against something, or someone. Her eyes rake through the room from where she stands
