Chapter Thirty-One Logan’s POV The packhouse need not be informed each time Anne arrives as she makes herself known through her very attitude. The housekeepers never cease to go into a frenzy with her arrival, trying to make things perfect enough, so she doesn’t complain. But nothing can ever be done to perfection as far as Anne is concerned. She will always look for something to complain about, either about how the furniture has been arranged, even though they have been that way for long, or the way her meals are served. Usually, I do not bother myself with these things because I barely even pay attention to them. But now, I have every reason to, sitting out on the lawn as she comes out back to meet me. I still have all the time to change Trina’s mind, but it is better having her work
