Logan’s POV
I ensure to take the route that leads to the lawn, then walk back in through the front door. The moment I push the door open, the silence hits me just as different pairs of eyes narrow in my direction. They all get on their feet at once, their heads hanging low in submission. Of course, all except Mandy, who bounds up to me despite Jake’s attempts at keeping her glued to his sides.
