Chapter Twenty Logan’s POV My study door opens after about fifteen minutes, and the three of them saunter in with Lanny taking the fore. His face breaks into a huge smile as his gaze falls on me and I roll my eyes when he comes around the desk and forces his arms around my frame. His familiar scent wafts through me, reminding me of the importance of family, of the one I had lost a few months back, and how much I miss him. Alpha Aiden wasn’t just the Alpha of the Black Stone Pack, he was my father, and a true one at that. There was never a time I needed his help with something that he never came through for me. I owe him everything I have become today and it is such a shame he never got to see it. “You didn’t tell me you were coming in today,” I murmur, patting Lanny gently on the back.
