Trina’s POV
“Hey!” Her voice sounds like laughter echoing through the wind as she saunters over, joining me at the shore of the beach. She is exactly the way Jake described her, her eyes bright and warm, and her frame, tall and elegant. Mandy offers me a small and cautious smile. “Jake told me I might find you here.”
“Yeah.” I nod, then halt abruptly, realizing a mere nod doesn’t exactly make for the perfect response after her enthusiasm and all the trouble of coming over to find me. “I had coffee with … I had coffee.”
I am going to have to think this through if I plan on using Mandy in my plans. She has access to Anne, even though she claims not to like her. Being her friend on the other side and slowly revealing to her that I am Logan’s mate will make her trust me,
