CHAPTER 10

JULIA I was barely recovering from the shock when he dragged me backward. My heart was pounding in my chest, unable to believe it. The strict Professor Bancroft was in a club. And in a questionable area. The door opened and I was dragged out to the top of the stairs with minimal light but enough to see the anger in his eyes and the black mask. Professor Bancroft tore it off. "What are you doing here?" He barked at me, his jaw ticking. The shock wore off quickly at the sound of his voice. I crossed my arms over my chest as I stared him dead in the eye. "I could ask you the same thing" His eyes twitched and my lips curved. "I bet you wouldn't have an answer to that" His face reddened and I expected an explosion from him but he turned away, reaching for the door. "Leave" My nerves pricked in irritation at being told what to do. "Why?" "This isn't a place for little girls" I scoffed at him. "Really? But it's fine for you" "You don't know what goes on in there" "And I'm more curious to find out now" "You're not listening Miss Walker! Leave. Now!" I took a step forward, not missing the surprised look in his eyes. "You're not my professor here, Edmund" His eyes darkened. Not expecting my reaction at all. I wasn't expecting it either but something had taken away my inhibitions. Maybe the drink I'd had earlier but I refused to be intimidated by his gaze... or him. The door opened before either of us could speak. A huge man stepped out, standing beside Professor Bancroft, his face covered in a similar mask like the one he'd had on earlier. "You're on" he growled. My interest perked. On? Was he going to perform? Curiosity and excitement thrummed through me. "I'll be there shortly" Professor Bancroft growled. The man looked between us for a second and disappeared through the door. "Leave Julia" he growled at me and the sound of my name forced a shiver down my spine. I held his gaze as I responded. "No. I'm going to stay" His eyes challenged me but I held my own until he muttered under his breath and slipped the mask on. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me through the doors. He moved in the darkness like he knew the layout by heart. We walked up another set of short stairs to higher ground and through a thin curtain. A large loveseat sat behind a small table filled with drinks. I looked around the dimly lit area and back to Professor Bancroft. "Stay here" I frowned at him. "I'm f*****g serious Julia" he gritted at me. "Wait here. Until I come to get you" I nodded and he growled at me. "Words" "Okay" I whispered and he stared at me for another second before storming away. From the love seat, I had a clear view of an empty stage. A man stepped onto it, his face hidden behind the same black mask. He lifted his head. My heart stopped. I knew who it was. Professor Bancroft. I leaned forward. What was he going to do? I got my answer a second later when a woman walked onto the stage and dropped to her knees. I didn't know what I was waiting for but my heart beat harder with excitement. His fingers stroked through her hair with controlled movement. And all the while, he held my gaze. I forgot how to breathe as I stared. His hands pushed her onto her back, his fingers pushed between her legs and I felt a pulse between mine. In a thousand years, I'd never have believed that I would run into my strict professor at a questionable club, doing a performance... with an audience. The thrill of watching, and knowing who was behind the mask almost had me falling off the chair. The room held its breath as the woman arched, a look of pleasure crossing her face. Words weren't needed to describe what was happening. My eyes could see, and my body was responding to the heat. His eyes found mine again as the woman's fingers closed around his wrist. An image flickered in my mind. I wasn't watching. I was right in front of him, his fingers playing me. My own gasp was loud and shame burned through me. Professor Bancroft dragged his gaze away from me, and the woman arched again, her feet curling. Applause echoed around me. My heart was pounding against my rib cage as the light on the stage died out. I stared at the same spot, still in disbelief. I'd just watched my professor make a woman c*m. And the sight didn't disgust me. The dampness between my panties told a different story. "Up" his voice growled above me and my head snapped up. "You..." "Now Julia!" He growled at me and my legs obeyed. His arms closed around my waist as he took me away, deeper into the room. He pushed open a door and we stepped onto another staircase, bright with light. Professor Bancroft didn't utter a word as he dragged me down with him. The door at the bottom opened into an underground parking lot. "Enter" he growled at me. "My friends..." "I'm not asking Julia" he snapped again. I swallowed and stepped into the open car. Professor Bancroft rounded the car, his face set into a tight line as he slipped in beside me. He revved the engine and pulled out of the lot. The silence between us stretched. I kept my gaze ahead as I tried to work through my thoughts. Every few minutes, I glanced over at Professor Bancroft, but he kept his gaze ahead, pretending he couldn't see me. I struggled with the words I couldn't say. Until his car came to a stop in front of a familiar building. I was outside my dorm. "Get down Miss Walker" he growled. So we were back to Miss Walker now? I didn't move as I looked over at him. This time, he was staring at me. "What does it take to become that woman?" His finger tightened around the steering wheel. "I don't know..." "I felt different" I cut him off and his eyes darkened. "You said experience could teach..." His growl cut me off. "Forget what you saw tonight Miss Walker" My eyes narrowed. How could I forget? The memory was imprinted into my brain. "I want to be a part of it" I continued anyway. "Get down Miss Walker" he growled again. His expression as hard as stone. This time, I obeyed.
