We got outside the Palace then Carson started walking towards one of the chariot that had golden plates at the side and the silver one directly beside it. As we walked towards the chariots, Kiara glued to Carson wanting to ride with him and Asmodeus just looked at me and smiled devilishly" Wife I think you should ride with Desy for now" Carson said seeing the tension between me and Desy" What's wrong" she asked confused as to why she couldn't ride with him" Nyx and Asmodeus are having a little problem that I don't want to escalate before we get to Sonnelion" he said looking sorry" fine" she said clearly hurt.

Kiara walked towards me with a frown on her face" The king suggests that you ride with him" she said not hiding the hurt in her voice" No darling, don't worry I'm fine with desy" I said trying to brighten up her mood which I did" No please, I won't let you bear the anger riding for straight ten hours with that lunatic" she said as she motioned for me to go and meet carson" Thanks love, you just saved my life" I said with a smile and enveloped her in a tight hug which made all the guards look at each other confused clearly realising that we were supposed to be arch-enemies.

The two chariots moved with me and Carson in the golden plated one while Kiara and Asmodeus rode in the silver plated one with about fifty to sixty men on horses following us." Did we really need all this much protection because four of us are fine on our own" I said sending Carson a questioning look" What do you mean by 'the four of us'"he asked and I turned ignoring the speed at which we were moving" You don't have to lie or hide it alright, I saw your wings and your fangs" I said trying to make him remember" Oh yeah about that you haven't told Kiara right" he said looking like he knew how terrified she would be if she knew" Of course not.

But you did promise to explain" I said and he suddenly remembered why I brought up the topic" Promise me you won't freak out as soon as I tell you" he asked looking worried that I would run away" I promise" I said giving him a reassuring smile" Well I am the king of all the fallen angels" he said blankly and looked away" Wait, what" I said puzzled" I am the devi.." he was about to finish his statement when I suddenly cut him off" You are Lucifer?" He looked back at me before finally nodding" How did my parents not know that you were the king of fallen angels, and not only that but also the king of demons" I said almost screaming" I knew you would react like this, that's why I don't tell people who I really am.

I'm the strongest of all the angels that were banished from heaven and was made their king by Asmodeus, that's why he called me brother. I hope this doesn't change the way you look at me though" he said apologetically and I nodded.

Ten minutes after leaving the border of Mauretania, we got attacked by strange creatures which took no time and killed all the guards before stopping our carriage.

We were unable to see because it was already dark out and we could hardly see who they were.

With all of the guards gone, the creature looking like a big dog started walking towards our chariot and I panicked closing my eyes holding Carson tight before I heard bones cracking and the man shifted back to human form" Seriously, Lucifer Morningstar, what a pleasure to finally meet you even though we are going to have to kill you all" he stated and I looked back only to find Carson letting out his demonic side" You need to calm down love, these men don't know what they are doing so we should just talk to them first before including violence" I said trying to calm him down but unfortunately, Kiara had already picked a fight with one of them and transformed into her demonic form.

Asmodeus walked out of the chariot and slowly cracked his neck and motioned for them to attack him immediately they ran at him and he freed his wings and slit their throats and he walked toward me" You know that if you don't fight you'll die right" I looked around and saw as Carson killed relentlessly with his claws and so did Kiara but Asmodeus kept everyone that came across him alive and stacked them before set them on fire with his mind.

I was horrified at how fast Kiara killed but I got lost looking at Kiara forgetting and not realising that a wolf was charging towards me but was stopped by claw that managed to severely injure the wolf digging deep into its skull and I immediately yelped from the sudden impact" Are you alright my lady" a tall man with impressively built body said and I gawked at his body before realising what just happened" Thanks for coming, Astraroth" Carson said changing back to his normal form" Thank you for saving me" I said with a smile trying to look away and not get caught in those sky blue eyes" It is a pleasure to finally meet a witch and she is rather stunning" another man said as he flew down and stood right in front of me" Stop it Verrine, you're scaring her" Asmodeus said chuckling" I am Verrine, the left hand man of Lucifer" he said boldly and I saw Astraroth's face turn into a frown" I thought that was my position" he said glaring hard at Verrine" Can you guys just stop Lord Lucifer called for help that's why we came right" a man with a more familiar face walked in and I immediately stood up and walked toward him and started punching him in the face.

Carson managed to pull me off of Damon but I had already severely injured him" You bloody bastard, you killed my brothers you murderer" I said filled with rage" Ouh aren't you a feisty one?" Verrine said with a devilish grin on his face.

Damon walked over and slapped me across the face before he could speak, Carson lifted him up with his hand around his neck and flapped his wings making him fly off the ground" Don't ever lay your filthy hands on my wife again.

Do you understand" He said angrily" Yes my lord" Damon said and was immediately dropped hitting the floor hard
