Robin and Wilder felt the silence stretch thin between them. Even though it wasn’t silent, the fights still progressed clash of weapons and snarl of wolves were very loud and filled their silence. Apart from a hiss of pain from Robin and a mumbled apology from Wilder, they were silent. Wilder got the bullet out and had to find something to tightly wrap around the wound in order to stop the bleeding. They looked around the forest, the weather was too cold for any of them to go without their shirts. The only person in the forest that didn’t require his clothing was Derek. Robin tried not to think too much about the fact that Derek’s bloodied shirt was being wrapped around her torso as Wilder worked on knotting it tightly and stopping the blood.
