Alana's POV.
"I went to freshen up." I replied, wondering if my face looked as disheveled as I felt.
My lips were tingling and the kiss I just shared with Xavier was still fresh on my mind.
My eyes met Cara's and she raised her eyebrows suspiciously, "What happened?" she mouthed.
"I'll tell you later." I mouthed back and gave her a smile.
Cara nodded and continued eating,my heart began thumping when I heard footsteps.
I could feel Xavier's gaze on me, his stare burning through my skin like fire.
"You left again?" Rolland asked him.
"Something came up," he answered simply, his jaw clenching.
Rolland sighed and turned around, looking for another target.
