Xavier's POV.
A sudden sigh of relief escaped me immediately I heard they didn't consummate their marriage.
Opening the door immediately after Rolland stormed off, I couldn't help the smile that formed on my lips.
I walked closer to her door, thinking of what to say to her without being sent away.
My heart thumped with every step I took towards her door. My phone suddenly buzzed in my pocket and I quickly pulled it out to check the caller ID.
"Hello." I answered, getting irritated already.
"What is it?" I asked, still annoyed by the interruption. I wanted to use this chance to speak to Alana.
"You need to come to the place I texted you about." Matteo said.
"How urgent is it?" I sighed.
"You're needed immediately, boss." He replied and hung up before I could say anything else.
