“Scarlett? Scarlett, wake up,” Julia ordered me, gently shaking me by the shoulders.   “Mm... leave me alone,” I muttered.   “Wake up, wake up.”  My eyes snapped open, and I sat up straight, my heart pounding. “What?”  “Shhh, not so loud, I don’t want anyone to hear us.”  I rubbed my eyes. The fire wasn’t quite out, I managed to make out Julia. “What time is it?” I asked in a hoarse voice.  “Two in the morning.”  “Two o’clock! But why are you waking me up? Is there a problem?”   “No. I wanted to talk to you last night, but since you seemed exhausted, I preferred to let you sleep.”    “Oh, that’s very nice, Julia! But you see, I only slept three hours and I’m still exhausted! What do you want to discuss that justifies waking me up in the middle of the night?”   “I need to talk t
