Chapter 8Henry rented a moving van but barely put any luggage in it. He packed his personal belongings, his most comfortable clothes, and his work equipment, only bothering with the things he couldn’t exist without. He would need to come back to London occasionally, so he would be keeping his flat, and there was more than enough furniture at the manor, so he didn’t bother with any of that. All of it would have fit easily in a regular sized car, but Gere was another story. Henry couldn’t imagine wedging him into some narrow backseat, and the idea of cruising through London with Gere clearly visible in the passenger seat amused him but wasn’t very practical.
