Steve who noticed all the commotion came and put his arms around my body for a side hug . Xander who looked both bored and angry came and shouted "what the hell do you want now ." looks like there was trouble in paradise but that was not my problem any longer. They looked each other in the eye.
I was starting to get uncomfortable and so did Steve because his arm got tight around me.I coughed out loud and that caused their staring contest to end and them both to look at me. "I'm sorry to interrupt but we're tired and you're the only ones left so could you wrap this quickly and leave. " I could feel Steve looking at me in amusement .
According to me the customer was always right but not this two because they were just dog poop. As soon as Xander heard my voice, he recognised my voice instantly and looked at me as if he was glad to see me. as usual he didn't smile. pffttt. I'm bored "Mr ,she was simply complaining about a dress that would not look nice ."
"On her and I think she was trying to bargain for it."I said and Stephanie looked at me surprised for I never dared to talk when he was around me I'd just sturter.He too was surprised . "Then would you be a darling and go find a dress that would look nice on her isn't that what you're paid for "
Xander said finally talking more like ordering making Stephanie glare at him. Was he trying to say that she doesn't look nice without expensive things. I faked a smile at them and said " Steve would you mind helping her" I said giving him a wink. " OK boss lady."He replied
And went Stephanie followed him , a little bit shaken of what Xander thought of her.I continued looking at my phone and about five minutes later I had found what I was looking for.i had already finished my part of preparing for the party. And as if on que Steve came with a purple dress and gave it to me looking a little bit disgusted .
Bitch came looking a little bit flushed and I could already guess what had just happened but kept quiet. I wouldn't want trouble in paradise after all. After they had both gone , I took a deep sigh to calm myself down. We closed down the boutique. The three of them were very excited for my father's birthday party.
It was normally the party of the year ......... for rich and snobbish people. I mean they don't even give really food there .there isn't even cake .Why call it a party if there is no cake. I had invited them because I didn't want to be alone at the party . Dinah and Adelede would be helping mom with the guests .
My father and brother only talk about business. I was the odd one of the family .Even now they had left me because I was late. That doesn't give them the right to leave me that's jest rude of them. hmmm !!! and now they had left me with a huge crisis how on earth was I supposed to get home now .
And it didnt even help when i heard some foot steps behind me. My heart started thudding hard. I rushed to the side of the road to call a cab quickly i was almost there when someone pushed me to them and covered my mouth when I was about to scream. I pushed really hard against him but he was too strong.
I knew it was a man from the rough hands Was this how it was going to end for me? r***d and then killed by some wierdo ?But I had already planned how I was going to die. At the age ot ninety I would sleep and never wake up , with the love of my life by my side.Not r***d and then killed by this insane man.
Hot tears started coming out of my eyes when I felt his hands in my shirt fumbling with the strap of my bra.I still fought but this man was stronger than me and overpowered me. Just when I lost hope the man was pulled of me roughly. There he was beaten like the s**t he is by this mystery man.
He ran of but not with his dignity. I almost felt pity for him . KEYWORD ALMOST.I rushed to thank the guy who had just saved me. It looked like he was hiding his face from me cause whan I reached close to him he stepped back to blend with the darkness , like batman .But I had to thank him so without thinking I rushed to him and kissed him.
