She could sense the great force of power from Andreas. She moved back while laying on the floor. Suddenly he teleported and she heaved a very loud sigh of relief when he vanished. She tried to understand what had just happened. She felt a force of power behind her and she turned around and the troll she had formerly saw looking at her pitifully.
“Hey I’m Melissa, come let me help you up.” The beautiful troll said. She looked really sad. There was no doubt that the death of her brother must have knocked her hard. She held Cyras arm and teleported into her room. Cyra found herself standing in a different room which was painted red. It looked just like hers but the waterfall in the room was red.
“Take a sit, I’ll get you food to eat since you didn’t quit eat.” Melissa said.
“No, do not stress yourself please.” Cyra said with a fake smile that didn’t reach the eye.
“You are princess Cyra of Dractica right?, the chosen one and The Demons Spouse huh?” Melissa asked and Cyra nodded. She wondered deeply why Andreas wasn’t referred to as his name by Melissa. It was weird to here him being called a Demon.
“Yes, I’m Andrea’s Spouse.” She said with clear irritation vivid on her face.
Melissa chuckled, she knew her brother well and could tell that he had been nothing but mean and arrogant to her. “The Demon can be arrogant and annoying sometimes but I assure you he’s a nice being.” She said.
“Why do you continuously call him the demon?” Cyra had to ask. She let curiosity get the best of her.
“It’s a title, he’s the only living Demon troll. The strongest of our family, my father always referred to him as a Demon when he was alive so we the family got used to it as we grew.” She said.
“The name is scary!” She said.
“Trust me, he’s more scary that his name. I don’t dare talk to my brother without a solid reason.” She said, “After my fathers dead, his heart became stone” Melissa said.
“Stone?. Like he became cold?” Cyra asked.
“Distant and I doubt if he will get better now that my brother Brendon is dead.” Melissa let out a tear from her eyes.
“It’s okay, you have your family and me, I’ll be here for you.” Cyra said. Indeed she didn’t know what caused her to say that but she said it. Melissa hugged her.
“My brother will be happy to be with you.” She said when she broke the hug.
Without Warning, The ground shook. Melissa placed her palm over her ears tightly. The great growl of Andreas could be heard. Cyra shivered at the sound and placed her over her ear as well.
“You have to go calm him down, please!” Melissa yelled at the top of her voice. “His Demon is out!” Tears streamed out of her eyes. Cyra didn’t know what to do and immediately got up. She was worried about what would happen to him and immediately teleported out of the room and into the dark room in which Andreas sat. He was crying terribly.
“Andreas!” She called softly. He turned around and all she could see were the pair of his red eyes stare at her in the dark. Indeed fear gripped her at the sight. She moved back a bit.
“What do you want?” His tone wasn’t as calm as it was. He sounded really angry and sad.
“I know what happened to your brother was painful, but you have to be strong for your family.” She said. She tried movies closer to him. He didn’t budge as tears streamed down his eyes.
“Do you know why my brother died?” He asked. His voice becoming more calm.
“No” She replied.
“Because of me, I should have the gem stone by now. My brother went into eradication and he broke in shreds and died.” He wailed. She kept moving closer to him. Suddenly the light turned on and she could see his face, she wondered why his tears were red. Indeed it was scary and she had never seen him in that state.
“We’ll find the gems and stop this all, I promise you this Andreas.” She placed her arm on his shoulder. The castle was still shaking a bit.
“Step away from!” A growled. He could feel his demon trying to come out. “Go away!” He yelled and the full force of his powers pushed Cyra to the ground. Now she understood why he next let himself get too angry. Now she understood why he would also disappear without any warning when he was about to get angry.
“Ah!” She yelped when her hand fell roughly on a hard surface. Andreas immediately rushed to her and picked her up. Her body laid in his arm helplessly, he was mad at himself for making hurting her.
“I’m sorry Cyra.” He called her name. It was the first time she ever heard him call her name and that sent shivers down her spine. He knew the effect he had on her and brought her closer to his chest. He stared into her Green orb eyes. She stared back at his red eyes which were slowly fading away and turning back to blue. She could see his eyes drift from red to blue in front of her. The blue was bright as his eyes were fixated on her lips. It was the spouse connection and he could feel electric shock travel down his spines at the touch of her bare skin against his.
In a swift motion he seized her lips. At first, she was taken aback but suddenly found herself submitting to his touch. She held his neck firmly as he claimed her lips. She moaned when she felt his tongue diving into her mouth. He let her body go and let her stand on her own. She couldn’t get enough of him and continued kissing him. Her touch made the pain he felt less painful, right now he could only imagine her face right before him as they kissed. She immediately broke the kiss in search for air, she took in deep breath and immediately teleported into her room. She slumped on the bed.
“I heard about the kings death.” She heard Farimas voice. As expected, she got startled.
“Don’t do that.” She said to her friend who simply chuckled at her facial expression. “Yes, and we need to find the gems fast. Tell me what you wanted to tell me earlier” Cyra said.
“I spoke to the guardian of the gems, he said both yourself and Andreas can get the gem if you merge your powers together and summon them.” Farima said.
“That’s more easy.” Cyra said.
“It’s easy for Andreas. but you, You haven’t learnt to control your powers yet.” She said.
“I’ll put in my best and learn all.” She said.
“You have to put in your very best.” Farima said.
