Magic Rat

Cyra stared at the sky calmly. Feeling the wind hit her skin was a different type of feeling. She was happy as she recalled some memories from her past. Her mother was all that was on her mind. She missed her mother so much. She could feel a heavy weight in her heart as she remembered the pain her mother had to bare before dying. It was very sad to watch her die but there was nothing she could do.

“What are you doing standing here alone?” There was no need to turn. The calmness in the voice said it all. It was Andreas and he stared at her intently and then the sky.

“Do you Leave here now?” Came here questing as she turned around to look at him.

“No, I have my own house. But I’m mostly here.” He said.

“What do you want from me now?” She asked. Andreas resisted the urge to smile when she raised her brows with her arms at akimbo.

“I want to teach you how to control the weather. So that you can fight with all the forces of nature.” He said.

“Doesn’t my emotion already do that?” She asked.

“Yeah they do but you do not know how to control them, Incase you aren’t aware. You can actually destroy the whole Kingdom if you get a little bit angry.” She was previously staring at the sky but turned to stare at him immediately turned to look at him.

“You mean just a little of my anger can destroy the troll kingdom?” She asked and he nodded.

“So you have to learn how to calm down and do things. You can’t let your anger win all the time. Certainly, they are days when people will annoy you and when you might get sad. But you have to control it.” He said. She nodded calmly as he spoke. She was enjoying the lecture and wanted to learn allot. If she wanted to save the troll kingdom she needed to learn more that controlling her anger, she needs to learn how to control the gems and lots more.

“Do you know that you can equally also control people?” He asked. She was shocked but in the mystic world was there truly anything that wouldn’t shock you. She thought.

“How can I do that?” She asked calmly.

“You can do that after learning how to control the weather. Now this is going to be our third class, right outside here.” he said. She stared at him intently. She wanted to learn so many things.

“Now, calm your nerves down and feel the wind.” He said. She tried her very best to calm down. She took in very deep breaths and then closed her eyes.

“Now speak to it. Feel as though you are communicating.” He said. She calmed down, a smile washed over her face. She tried her best to do as he had said. She felt as though the wind had lifted Andreas up.

“Open your eyes.” He said. She could hear his voice coming from the sky. What baffled her the most was the fact that she could actually see the wind. Another thing that made her shock was the fact that Andreas was really calm as the wind lifted him up.

He simply then just used his powers and landed himself on the floor. “Very good, you are learning quick.” He said.

“What other things can I control?.” She asked. He smiled as she asked.

“Fire, Water, Soil, everything that has to do with nature.” He said. She smiled.

“That’s really good, how am I so strong?. Like why was I chosen?. What are the reasons?” She asked.

“You are half human and troll, I guess your powers are more than ours.” He said.

“That’s scary. Shouldn’t a full troll be the one to be chosen. This is all scary.” She said. He chuckled and then used his powers to dust his shirt. The dust from the wind was already on it.

“You shall learn many things.” He said, “Do not worry, you’ll learn with time.” He said.

“I hope so.” She said. “I really want to be able to control the gems and save the troll village. I can’t wait to be out of here soon.” She said.

“Hm, you want to do this just for your own freedoms?. Ha, this is more than your freedom, one thing you should know is that if you are able to save the troll world you shall not be able return.” He said. She gasped.

“I don’t understand.” She said.

“Yeah, you’ll not be able to return.” He said.

“I was not told about this, what about my grandmother?. What about my life out there. I want to become a doctor.” She said. Andreas shook his head pitifully.

“How about the people of troll word, what would be their faith if you leave?. We’ll all perish, your father as well.” He said.

“I cannot trade my entire life for all this. They are just trolls!” She said.

“Wow, even your father is just a troll?. He should simply just die?. He doesn’t have emoticons. I’ll remind you that the man you want to let die can lose his life for you. He knows what he’ll lose when you get all the powers.” He said.

“What do you mean?.” She asked.

“Your father will have to lose his powers if you acquire all your powers.” He said.

“But will he be okay after that?” She asked.

“Losing his powers means losing his life.” He said.

“Losing his life?. Is it necessary that he loses his life?” She asked.

“Yeah, but there is only one way to save him.” He said.

“What way is that?” She asked.

“We have to get the eight gem of the mystic world.” He said.

“Aren’t they seven?” She asked.

“Yes. But they is one gem that we’ll need to get. No one has ever seen it nor felt it.” He said.

“And why is that?” She asked.

“It’s from the human world. The only one that Can find it is the chosen one” he said.

“Then I shall find it.” She declared.

“The human world isn’t as peaceful as it seems. The magic there is stronger than the magic over here.” He said.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Do you know who the ruler of the human world are?” He asked. She nodded in the negative.

“The Rats!” He said.

“The rats?” She raised her brows. He chuckled.

“Yeah you heard me right princess.” He said.

“Hmm, this is crazy.” She chuckled.
