ONE YEAR LATER
Cyra sighed as she got out of bed. Her body ached really bad and she could not believe that she was about to miss her grandmas large art exhibition. Thankfully her powers did not go away and she was able to get ready in a second. She threw her camera into her bag and ran down out of her room in great speed. She ran down the stairs to meet her grandmas pretty face staring at her with her hands at Akimbo.
“I’m so sorry grandma Anna, I over slept.” She said. Grandma Anna rolled her eyes and walked calmly to the place where she hanged her car keys. Thankfully, after Cyra arrived she used magic in other to fix Grandma Anna’s leg so the old woman was walking without her stick now.
“You better get your a*s in my car now!” Grandma Anna scoffed while walking out of the door. Cyra chuckled and then grabbed Grandma Anna’s inhaler from the center table where it laid. She never remembers to carry it with her. She ran outside and locked the door with its key and ran to the car and sat in it.
“I wonder how your father managed you when you stayed with him.” Grandma Anna scoffed. Cyra was already used to those particular sentences as she used them frequently. It was like Grandma Anna had become more crankier than before. But who would blame the old woman, she was left alone for two years in the human world without Cyra. It was not easy for her but she had to just cope.
“Dad did just fine with me.” Cyra finally uttered. Grandma Anna rolled her eyes and ignited the car engine and drove into busy roads. The roads were really busy today and that made Grandma Anna more angrier. Cyra could hear the old woman groan frustratedly at the sight of the traffic jamb.
“Use your magic and get us out of her please” Grandma Anna said to Cyra who chuckled. It was as if along with being cranky, grandma Anna also got more forgetful.
“I can’t use my magic in Public. People will be terrified grandma.” Cyra said for the millionth of times. Grandma Anna simply frowned and hit the steering wheel of the car.
The traffic jamb lasted over thirty minutes before the road was clear. Grandma Anna did not waste time and quickly drove to her destination without a pause. They finally arrived at the art gallery where grandma Anna’s art would be in display.
“Cyra get the art out. Now!” Grandma Anna commanded and Cyra ran out immediately to get the arts out as ordered by her grandma. She offloaded all of them
And headed for the door.
In a quick pace, she arranged every art on its stand. “Thanks for your help Cyra.” Grandma Anna said nicely. Cyra chuckled.
“You’re welcome Grandma.” She said. Immediately grandma Anna’s friends came to where she stood. Cyra immediately took that as a cue to run off.
She walked over to the balcony in the art gallery and sat down on the floor where she mind linked Farima. “Hey” She said through the mind link.
“Hey” Farima responded dryly.
“What has happened to you?. You do not sound happy.” Cyra could sense that Farima was in a very bad mood. Farima had never been the type to sound the way she just did.
“Something is happening, I was asked not to tell you but I do not know if I can watch it happen.” Farima responded through the mind link. Cyras heart beat accelerated as her thought fell on her dad. She thought maybe he had fallen ill or something.
“Is something wrong with my dad?” She asked hurriedly. Farima chuckled a bit.
“Hold your cap daddy’s girl, your daddy is good.” Farima teased but it didn’t match the way she would do it normally. “It’s Andreas, he’s getting married in two months.” Farima said. Cyra felt her heart fall as though it had fallen into a pit.
“How is that possible, I’m his spouse. His name is still on my arm.” Cyra said through the mind link. She could feel tears bream down her eyes.
“It is possible because he chose her himself and a ceremony will be performed where he’ll seek for her to be his spouse.” Farima said.
“What’s her name?” Cyra found herself asking. She was sad beyond words and Farima could tell from how her voice sounded faint through the mind link.
“Aria, the princess of the fairies. I hate that bitch.” Farima said. Cyra felt her heart beat accelerate.
“I’m coming back to the mysticons. I have to stop Andreas from marrying her.” She said.
“You mean you’ll tell him you’re his spouse?” Farima asked.
“Yes I will, I will think of something. He has to know, he loves me Farima.” She said through the mind link. Farima facepalmed herself.
“You can’t do that Cyra, He’ll not believe. To him you were never even born, the only thing you can do now is introduce yourself as someone else.” Farima said.
“How?” She asked.
“You can’t tell him you are his spouse or that your name is Cyra, you’ll have to change your name and your identify.” Farima said. “Make him fall in love with you all over again.” Farima said.
“Then that’s what I’ll do. I’ll make him mine again Farima, I shall return to the mysticons tomorrow. We shall commence on our mission, please you have to help me.” Cyra Said.
“I’ll always help you Cyra.”
Farima said. Cyra smiled, she was going to get him back not matter what it’ll take.
