Riva Gage was easy. I only had to prowl the forests in wolf form, giving off my scent, and he was there in no time. He was growling, eager to pounce at me. There was an absence of thought, but somehow we managed to communicate. When we shifted into our human forms, he didn’t mind that it was me – Riva, the witch he should be wary about. The witch he should be killing right now. As I said, he was easy, but my job was anything but. While his kisses should feel right and his mouth was skilled, something inside me rebelled. He was not Gideon. I could swear I smelled him nearby and heard rustling not too far away from me. A quick glance showed me that there was nothing there, but it didn’t mean that he had not been. Did he manage to escape? I should do something before Gage overpowered
